HSRW
A Contemporary Design Identity
Branding / Visual Identity / Art Direction
CONCEPT
Located in Kamp-Lintfort and Kleve, Germany. This fictional branding project was created for the Information and Communication Design Faculty of Rhein-Waal Hochschule. The goal was to develop a bold, modern, engaging and colorful identity that reflects the versatile talent and creativity of the design program’s students, who come from diverse international backgrounds.
The visual language draws inspiration from historical design movements, reinterpreted with a contemporary approach. This identity is heavily influenced by geometric shapes, bold colors, and a strong emphasis on print materials. The four main posters were designed to represent the initial letters of HSRW in a bold, minimal form, with four distinct colors symbolizing the diversity of student creativity.
Each color represents a different season, reinforcing the idea that every student brings a unique skill set and artistic style:
*Violet for autumn
*Blue for winter
*Red for spring
*Yellow for summer
This project is a statement on bold design, diversity, and creative energy. Every detail is intentional, every color is a reflection of the unique perspectives, Individuality and authenticity within the HSRW design community. ©2025
